Service Description

A trained expert will remove snow and ice from your roof top and assess your attics ventilation. Why do we assess attic ventilation? Ice Damming and Large Icicles are caused by a ventilation issue in the attic. Either the Soffit (air in-take) is blocked by insulation in the attic or more commonly, the roof has insufficient exhaust vents (air out take). This causes "Heat Loss" from the attic through the roof melting the bottom layer of snow. With our Canadian winter's that's enough to freeze the melted snow into a solid Ice Dam. As this cycle continues, the Ice Dam will build. Will will propose the right ventilation option best suited for your roof, to avoid spring time leaks and repeated annual Ice Dams.
